“西安事变”后，国民党严密封锁我陕北中央苏区的消息，禁止外国新闻记者到苏区采访。美国记者埃德加•斯诺的夫人海伦•斯诺为给丈夫的《红星照耀中国》丰富材料只身赴苏区采访。西安警察局特警分队队长欧阳川奉命将海伦软禁，制造各种麻烦，想迫使海伦知难而退。在最困难的情况下，海伦在美国石油公司西安办事处经理菲奇的帮助下，终于摆脱控制，到达了苏区。，完成采访，成为最早向世界报道红军真实情况的外国友人之一。 展开全部
